Female car insurance ‘could provide debt relief’
Women could experience debt relief by finding a female-only car insurance policy, it has been claimed.
Andrew Paddick, director general of the Institute of Insurance Brokers, advises that female car insurance policies are frequently cheaper than generic products.
He adds that this could mean substantial savings are available to women, especially if they are the sole driver of the vehicle, offering the potential for debt relief for female motorists.
“It is important for ladies to get the best discount if they are the only driver of the vehicle,” Mr Paddick urges.
“If the lady concerned has a good record and she is the only driver of the vehicle to be insured, then she will enjoy a better rate,” he suggests.
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association recently advised that drivers of smaller cars could expect a further reduction on their insurance premiums.
Either suggestion could prove useful to those drivers attempting to find some debt relief.
