Which?: Greater transparency required on credit cards
Consumer watchdog Which? has called for greater transparency on credit cards following investigations revealing misunderstanding over interest charges.
Last week Which? published a report which found that the top 20 providers charge interest in 12 different ways, which means a lower APR can be more expensive than a higher one.

Spend as much time on savings as on borrowings, says expert
Consumers have been told that they should spend as much time concentrating on their savings as they do on their borrowings.
Lisa Taylor, spokesperson for Moneyfacts.co.uk, said that consumers tend to take more time out searching for good deals when borrowing money, rather than when looking for savings deals.
